Cam HayMy wife is celiac and it has been a long time since she had American Chinese food. She absolutely loved it. Had the lemon chicken, ginger beef, Cantonese chow mein, mixed veg, and some egg rolls. They obviously are very good at keeping the gluten away. She's giving it 5/5, I'd say 4/5 compared to "gluten full" Chinese, but still quite good.
Street GuyAlways a great experience here! Have been going to this restaurant for a few years now. Service is very good, food is extremely tasty. They use no MSG in the food here and you can tell by the taste and your stomach(MSG makes me feel sick).
The owners are very good as well, remembers the whole family from the couple of times that the whole family has been there.
Match the no MSG, great taste, friendly owners and staff and you have Empress of China!

Allan ChanBy far the best bubble tea and fruit tea location in all of River East, North Kildonan and East St Paul. If you are looking for a quality drink equal and even surpassing any of the big chain bubble tea joints in the south end of the city, they have you covered. The milk is tea is genuinely brewed and steeped. All fruit teas are made with fresh fruit. Boba is always fresh and soft.
