Awesome Hookah cafe! Really great vibe inside. Great flavours. Quick service. Very friendly and great owner. A must visit if you like to smoke shisha. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

*updated review Many things remain the same with a few changes. I deleted most of the food information as they will be updating their menu. I got to order off the new menu. Everything we tried was great. They asked me for my honest opinion and there was nothing negative that I had to say. I tried to find something but I was very pleased with the flavors. The salads are some of the best in the city for middle Eastern restaurants that I've tried. The photos I have of the interior are no longer accurate as they have added in some smaller tables to accommodate their busy restaurant. It's also better for when you only have 2 people. It can get cramped if it fills up. I forgot to take pictures of the updated interior. Parking is available on the street as the restaurant is directly located on Corydon. This restaurant is on the second floor. -- old review but what is still valid-- There is no separation for people who smoke hookah (which is normal for most places that serve hookah) so if you aren't comfortable with that, this isn't the place for you. I do not smoke hookah, so the review I am doing is more about the food. My friend does smoke hookah and you is his number one choice 2 Pros about this restaurants, they have a lot of different combo choices to choose from. They also have a nice assortment of drinks for non drinkers which includes a variety of teas served in what looks like a copper pot with beautiful glasses. I am very interested in going there to try the rest of their tea variations. Its comfortable and the service was very friendly and informative!

Really satisfied with my experience here. It had great ambience, a clean comfortable look with a middle Eastern flair. The staff was attentive and friendly and we had a great time having a strong Turkish coffee, playing chess and sharing a hookah. Definitely one of my new favorite places in the city. Can't wait to try out the food next time!

They have many flavours of sheesha and they pack it well so you can smoke for hours. The tea here is awesome and the service is great! Overall an awesome place and it's my new go to place.

This place earns 5 stars as it excels in a number of categories. The food is authentic and tastes great. The Egyptian tea is unique and a must have. The hookah flavours are pleasant and hold up well. The owners are nice and friendly. The latter items would typically earn a place a 4 star rating, but the atmosphere is what takes this to the next level. This is a great place to hang out and catch up with friends any night of the week.

Very welcoming atmosphere with nice hookah flavors. Heba is awesome, she always engages in conversation and makes the time there more enjoyable. Mohammed also comes by our table every time to make sure things are well. Amazing wraps and hummus, delicious. Can't recommend this place enough.

The food is fantastic and they have a good variety of both dishes and shisha. The manager/owner is very friendly and will tell you stories and give advice on where to travel in the Middle East. They are just lovely, lovely people. The one issue with the restaurant is that the service can be a bit spotty - sometimes they'll forget an item you ordered or they'll be away from your table for a bit too long when you're looking to get something. That being said, everything else about this restaurant works so much that I think that is negligible when compared to everything that is awesome. I've been there three times and will continue to go back and to recommend it to others.

I've been to many Hookah bars in my past, most of them in the Middle East. I found Arabesque to be as close as possible and as authentic as possible to the ones I've been to in the past. There's wide array of flavours top choose for the hookah (shisha), the hookahs themselves are made with quality and are visibly clean and well maintained. The Arabic music (from 5-7pm) adds to the authentic feeling. The food may be small portioned but is delicious, albeit a bit too much garlic was added to the hummus. The staff is really friendly and knows "how to hookah" such that even costumers who never used one before could enjoy themselves. Would definitely recommend going.

Okay, in comparison to Peg city's hookah places, definitely the top spot to go to. The staff and the owner are really chill and very, very friendly!! They give you multiple suggestions on what flavors to order and overall they try their best to give you a good experience. Their food that I've ordered, consistj ng if several chicken dishes, is really good and it does fill you up! The only thing that some of you may get bothered by is the amount of smoke from others, which believe me is not much, but some may feel it is; I personally am totally fine with it since it is the best conditions to make rings, which I clearly like to do. So the air flow may or may not be an issue to some people. But other than that a definite go to place if you're into hookah or want to try it out!😎😎

While Visiting Winnipeg for 2 weeks I must have come here 8 times to eat and smoke a hookah. Whether you are looking for delicious arabic food, or an incredible hookah, this is the place to visit. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and you will find them conversing and hanging out with their visitors as if they have always been friends. The prices are reasonable, the shisha flavor list is extensive, the ambiance is amazing, and the service is incredible. Will Definitely miss this place!

(July 2017 visit) Supreme experience, flavors, and service. Gluten-free options available, but left to your own regarding possible cross-contamination. One of my kebabs seemed slightly raw, but I was full after eating the rest of the food. Hookahs work well with sterile mouth piece. I had to request more coals once and was there for 2hr. Delicious tea. If only the hookahs used tobacco....

Best Hookah Café in Winnipeg so far. Great place to chill during late hours, plenty of hookah flavours and food selection. The tea here is amazing as well, I'd recommend the Karak tea (I alway order it every visit). The staff is always accommodating and friendly. I come here often and have had a great experience for every visit so far.

This cafe is one of my favorites in the city. The owners take pride in their customer service. I have found them to be extremely friendly and heart warming. My personl favourite entry is Chicken Shawarma Fattoush with pomegranate molasses. The ingredients are always fresh and you have to try the different tea pots that range from Palestinian to Lebanese.

They tried hard. I took an Egyptian friend there and he wasn't particularly impressed. But at least I could show that we have diversity in Winnipeg. The food was ok. I had never seen fries with shawarma before so I was a little confused. Maybe it does get served like that but not my style. Very nice and friendly staff.

This restaurant has the benefit of being on the second floor, and it works this advantage to the max! The purple door sitting at street level gives it the feeling of one of those secret clubs they have in movies. You open the door to a set of stairs whose textured wallpaper immediately sets the unique tone carried on throughout the restaurant. The hospitality shown by the staff, including both of the owners, is one of the hallmark features of the Arabesque. Never before have I experienced service on this level. The food itself is delicious, light, and fresh. A perfect blend of service and culinary success!

The food is incredible my favorite is thier chicken shwarma and thier wrap really authentic and the staff is incredibly friendly. They have the best shisha in the city I highly recommend you visit open late aswell so even after a long day its amazing to hang.

Fantastic shawarma wraps served with some sort of garlic butter that appears to be made in house. The aesthetic is laid back - groups of people socialize without becoming too loud and students often come to study as well. The Shisha is of great quality. You can even ask for mixed flavors. Some flavors are less potent, and I recommend mint paan. Highly recommended experience!

They take the time to greet you and make you feel important. If you become a regular, which many do, not only do they remember your order but they remember your name. Customer service is so undervalued these days however, not the case here.

Best shisha in all of Winnipeg. By far the cleanest one too. Super friendly staff, great authentic food, and awesome chill vibe to it as well. Go with a friend and get the new promo for Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s: 2 shawarma wraps (chicken is so good), 2 orders of fries, and 2 canned drinks with a shisha all for $24.99. Basically getting a free shisha since two combos on their own equal to $26.99! So worth!

I've been to 3 hookah bars in the city, and I must say that Arabesque blows all of their competition out of the water. The staff are very helpful and check up on you often. The quality of the shisha and food are amazing. I have become a regular and spend quite some time here, and plan to continue in the future. When i went to Arabesque for the first time last night, i didnt know what to expect. Its a subtle door that leads up a flight of stairs to a second floor restaurant and lounge. The atmosphere was wonderful, and i can honestly say it was the nicest hookah lounge I've been to. I've gone to the Red Sea on portage, the Blue Nile on Sargent, and one or two overcrowded places in Montreal. I'm relieved to say I'll probably never go back to the other spots in winnipeg, because Arabesque just beats them. The owner is polite and attentive, yet down-to-earth and young. You can tell she is eager to please, and I would not be surprised to see her open a second location within the next few years.

The Falafel Wrap was phenomenal! Almost like a panini with the way they crisp it up! Also super tasty hummus! The staff are fun, and the Shisha is pretty darn tasty, (no nicotine, which is cool for me as an ex-smoker) If you haven't tried it yet, you should go!

Moved to Winnipeg, Canada 6 months ago from Pakistan. Heard its a dead place and not much places to eat and hangout. And I landed to Arbasque. Delicious food and great atmosphere. I am in love with this place. My fsv hangout. Cool open place with essense of Middle East. One of the best part is it is not loud and they entertain a very decent crowd The owners are super friendly and great people. I can confirm they have the best sheesha in Winnipeg (I did introduce few flavours here :p). And if you are looking for PAAN flavour this is the place to come to.
