At first glance on their menu, the crepes may seem a bit pricey, just like how it seems for most of the eateries in this area. However, you are rewarded with generous portions of crepes, some of which are accompanied with a big scoop of ice cream on the side. I love the variety of both sweet and savoury crepes that this place offers. As a person with not a big sweet tooth, my personal favourite is the fresh and dry fruit options accompanied with the matcha/green tea ice cream.

We had the chocolate crepe. Didn’t expect such big portions but loved it. Friendly service. Cozy place. Suggestion: the menu is hard to read due to the choice of background and font colour. Not enough contrast. On the phone, still hard to read due to small font. When magnified, it becomes blurry

delicious crepes and a variety of flavors and desserts to choose from! The black sesame crepes are a must. They're not extremely sweet like other desert places which is really nice. Limited seating inside.

The price is worth it for the food and it didn’t increase a ridiculous amount despite the pandemic, which I appreciated! The staff are friendly and they offer patio seats! I’ve come here a couple times and the desserts are always great, love the Brownies Waffle! The ice cream is good too, and they are pretty generous with the toppings! They currently serve the foods in takeout containers for hygiene (COVID precaution).

Delicious dessert if you’re in the mood for cake but in a pair or alone. Has a wide variety of flavours and gives eating cake a new twist. The only criticism is the price for the size.

I spent 30 minutes in this restaurant today :) The environment is quiet and you can dine inside or outside. Due to the pandemic, the restaurant only provided disposable food boxes whether you are dine-in or take-out. After eating the food, you can throw them in the garbage bin. (Note: Because I chose to dine-in, I need to write down my name, phone number, date and time that I visited this restaurant.) Food: Premium Matcha Crepe ($ 14.99 CAD without tax and tip) (2 Matcha ice cream in the cup + Matcha cream + crepes + red beans + small bread piece) The crepe is great and delicious but personal speaking, I think it may be too sweet for me. If I have the chance, I may try other dishes next time.

Very nice place with amazing food. Ordered nuts crepe and was surprised by the taste. It was not sweet as most of the such places in North America. The same about mousse tarts, they have taste and not only taste of sugar. Very pleasant and quite seating area inside and a few tables outside. Bottom line: amazing place with amazing food. Crepe was really good!! Crepe is soft with the right amount of chewiness. I had the shortcake crepe. The strawberries were nice and fresh but I didn’t taste the blueberries. The shortcake didn’t seem to go well with the whole setup. So, I still have it 4 stars because the redeeming factor was the ice cream. AMAZING. Airy, creamy flavourful. I wouldn’t even remember the crepe and it’s faults after tasting the ice creaminess goodness. Also had to get it to go as there’s no dine in at the moment from the pandemic. Could have been a factor as I had to have the ice cream separate, but thinking about having the ice cream with a mouthful of the soft crepe just might have made it that much better?? Service was great! Nice and patient as I was choosing what to have. Didn’t rush me and I thought that was nice. My friend had the tropical crepe and he said the fruit was really fresh AND refreshing considering the day we ordered was hot. Sorry, didn’t get a pic of the ice cream. The other thing is parking. Might be tough normally for Yonge street but noticed a little adhesive on one of their display windows for free underground parking. See the pics for its location. Great job and keep up the good service!! UPDATE: Second time around and had the black sesame. Ice cream is still just as expected, 100% delicious! And service still on point! Came here on a whim because the name caught my eye and I enjoy visiting various bakeries/cafes. The staff are very friendly and the shop has a relaxed atmosphere. They have a variety of different flavoured coffee and tea. Their creme brulee's are caramelized and decorated when ordered so they're nice and fresh when eaten. Will definitely come here again

Tried it for the first time, great waffles , I would recommend the Strawberry Shortcake waffle, portions are a good size, you can definitely have one to yourself. As it is covid times, they serve their desserts in to-go containers which makes taking home leftovers (if you have any) easy.

My most favourite crepe spot! Their crepes are so FLUFFY! And not eggy at all! They have sooo many awesome flavours! Lots of customizations and many ice cream flavours they make in house! The staff is so friendly and happy! You will always have a great experience here! I have been to Pastel for many times for the past few years for dine in dessert. Their matcha crepe, chocolate crepe are great and never disappointed me. This time I would like to try their brand new special mont blanc crepe with hazelnut ice cream. I never do take out before, but due to covid19 dine in closure in Toronto, I am force to do my first time crepe take out. When I first open the plastic box, a huge crepe with chestnut topping is in inside. A nice touch of a whole chestnut on top of the topping makes the whole crepe even more beautiful for picture taking. Taste of the crepe with the hazelnut ice cream together are so good, and not too sweet. I am surprise the ice cream did not melt for take out. Overall, it is a very good experience for crepe take out.

Hey everyone, This is a great little spot in town, with a great little menu, you dine, for a quick drink. Or relax and have a deep conversation! Whatever you decide to do, the staff are welcoming and accommodating. And helpful when it comes to choices on the menu. Personally I love little dessert place like this one. Definitely a hidden gem if you haven't already checked it out. Suffice to say it's clean well lit, and they have a small Patio option as well, this just pleasant. What a great little find! Came for coffee and stayed for dessert! Tried the Black Forest latte and the green matcha latte, of which I would recommend the former. Tried a few of the crepes, be wary of the salmon since it was kinda fishy. The customer service was great and they happily gave us another crepe to try so we chose the tropical Crepe. The pistachio ice cream was good, just didn't pair well with the tropical filling in the crepe... coconut would have def been a better option. Anyways, this place is a for sure visit! Enjoy!

We had their strawberry shortcake crepe and matcha crepe. Both were great. It is nice that they separate out the ice cream from the crepe so that it doesn't get soggy. The ice cream stays frozen a little longer too. Both were yummy, we are looking forward to coming again.

Came with my pals for a lovely crepe dessert. I am so amazed for their creativity for their desserts that i couldn't resist to order their amaretto coffee! Great staff and they are so nice to tell us that they are sorry that we have to wait for our turn because there are so may people dining in that day. But all in all it was a great dessert experience and I will defenitly come back with my friends and family! ☺️

Pretty decent but think I chose the wrong flavour. I ordered the chocolate crepe. I didn’t really enjoy the flavour too much and they had a lot of chocolate whipped cream. The quality of the crepe was really good so if I ordered a regular one I’m sure it’d be delicious. It came with a side of vanilla ice cream which was nice. They gave us to go containers even though we dined in which hopefully was just due to the COVID situation.

🌈 Indeed, Pastel Creperie & Dessert House does have a phenomenally modern twist of a bygone era of creperies and a wild assortment of menu items. This establishment's menu must be patiently read in order to appreciate their awesome offerings. The kitchen staff follows my instructions and then some. It is a terrific find.‼️ Delivery is efficient and care is taken as there are menu items that are required to remain frozen. My favourite order is the heavenly waffles with fresh 🍓 strawberry and a multitude of 🫐 blueberries with whipped cream all drizzled with swirls of 🍫 chocolate. It is so aesthetically enticing. Their portions are extremely generous. The French vanilla ice is in a separate container which is immediately placed in my freezer for a treat at a later point in time. This specialized establishment is highly recommended. Dine in or order delivery online through UberEATS. You are sure to be a repeat patron. Have been coming here for years so a review is long due...A great place for some delicious desserts, coffee and crepes (they serve both sweet and savory crepes). The quality of the food has been excellent all throughout the 5 years that I have been at this dessert house. The place is clean and cozy good for small groups of people.

Cozy place to enjoy your dessert on Yonge Street! Sitting in here eating dessert and look at people walk around is definitely awesome Now they offer self-service during the pandemic I ordered a Shortcake waffle and customized to matcha ice cream. Tasty and love the strong & authentic matcha Staff is really friendly and lovely. The price is reasonable

Randomly came to Pastel for dessert! We ordered the Brownie waffle for take-out and it was ready within 10 minutes. The waffle itself was warm and fluffy. It really tasted fresh. They gave a large amount of ice cream, banana slices and brownie pieces for the Brownie waffle. It was so good that we came back again (and will continue to come back) even though it is a far drive from our house.

A warm, little cosy place that I used to gather with friends for coffee here before covid. Busy place more of time. The crepe taste great! One drawback is that the place is too small and crowded that if we get a loud neighbor in next table, it would become extremely difficult for us to hear and talk to each other.

Lots of really good options to choose from! It's a nice cozy cafe that has good ambience between their indoor and outdoor space. The dessert crepes are not too sweet and they gave good cake sets to choose from too. Would go again till I try everything on the menu.

Highly recommend! The people were kind and attentive. While waiting for our order and while we ate they came and refilled our glasses of water ^^ There's also WiFi for those who cannot part with their devices! The strawberry shortcake crepe was amazing. The inside of the crepe was stuffed with shortcake, strawberries and blueberries. The perfect amount of sweetness. My highest praise is for not using cheap, watery ice cream. There is a minimum of $5 per person, but that shouldn't be a problem as my friend and I shared a crepe (it was $11.30 after tax and before tipping) We didn't order anything else but I will definitely be back to try more as they even have savory crepes on their menu. For those trying out crepes for the first time, don't be too surprised at how fast it melts and becomes messy! Despite the melting, it was delicious nonetheless.

I LOVED this place! I had the brownie waffle and my sister had the molten cake and it was SO good. A perfect place to go to for your chest day, it'll satisfy all your cravings. The service was great also and the food came out so quick. 10/10 would recommend this place

There is no doubt that this place is great. The food is damn good, and it is really worth the visit. However, my reason for the 4 star instead of 5, is because the person there kept nagging me on and on about the "$6 per person rule". Even after I told that person that I am going to take out several cakes after I finish this one thing I ordered with my friend, that person kept coming back, even going to the extent of asking me, "sir, you understand what I said right?". Honestly, the food was great, but cmon. I told them like 5 times that I will order cakes later on!!!!!!!!!

Amazing place! Very nice staff, all the girls are smiling and happy to help you. Crepes are delicious!😋 I tried one with chicken and one with mushrooms; both were so yummy! Among the deserts, I tried cheesecake and raspberry mouse; both were very good! Not too sweet, just the perfect taste! The only uncomfortable thing - tables are too close to each other. Definitely will come more and more anyway!

First things first: their portions are HUGE. I've been to other creperies places before and they really cheap you out on the sizes of their dish. This place actually has decent size. My friend and I shared one crepe and it was VERY filling. Really great service!! They fill our cups so readily. And even though the rule says 2 hour max sitting time, they let us sit until we were ready to go. The outside seating is fantastic. On summer days it would be great for people watching. About 10 min walk from Finch station.

Came here with my family, and we ordered the premium matcha crepe with matcha crepe, red bean, rice cake, roasted bean powder and match ice cream, the black sesame crepe and the brownie waffle. Overall, the premium matcha crepe tasted the best and most distinct, it wasn't too sweet and they had roasted matcha flavour, the red bean crepe was soft and warm! The other two were average in terms of taste compared to other dessert houses.

Good food, great service. Only downside is the place is really small so it can get very cramped especially later in the evenings. Noise level is also high so it is not a good place to have a nice conversation but other than that no complaints.

The Crepe Suzette, one of their special crepes, was toasted so that it provided a slight crunch and was topped with orange zest and an orange butter sauce. Definitely my new favourite on the menu. Matcha tiramisu is great and so is the regular tiramisu. Definitely reccomend the Crepe Suzette, it comes with French vanilla ice cream too.

Came here for dessert and they have a good selection of desserts to choose from. Taste is okay nothing too special and it's a small place so seating is limited if you're there with a big party. Staff is super nice, I would give them a 4 out of 5 on service alone.

Pastel is an amazing desert place. Give them a shout and you won’t regret. We tried Brownie Crepe, Almond Mocha Ice cream, Cookie m Cream Ice cream and everything is 10/10. Also they serve home made pistachio ice cream which is intense but I like it. They’re menu is on a bit expensive side but if you are looking for great deserts you won’t regret. During weekend you can park in Kempford Blvd for free or if you’re taking Subway Finch station is 7 mins walk. we are very happy with the taste and service.

I bought some crepes, lava cakes these stuffs was really delicious and I tried the frozen white chocolate but didnt like that at all. I am not judging the place with just a poor drink. Over all it is one of the best crepes I had, just happen to hate the drink. But everyone should try their crepes it's awesome.

I have been to Pastel many times and aside from the excellent food, I have consistently experienced fast (<15 minutes always!) and professional service. Despite being a small cafe, there is often room to sit with a friend and the waitresses always remember to fill up our water! Great selection of desserts and fair prices will keep me coming back to pastel for years to come.

Decided to give them a try and ordered the coffee crepe for delivery, it was delicious! I usually find a lot of dessert crepes are overly sweet but this one was just perfect. It even came with a full to-go cup of their espresso ice cream so it felt like we got two desserts for the price of one.

Cute, small place for classier hangouts. Tables were a bit too close together for comfort. Food came in big portions and were pretty tasty. The desserts and drinks are very sweet though, and the waitress didn’t know what was in the drinks when I asked. We got the shortcake and roasted green tea waffles, and the Black Forest latte (which I would recommend getting half sweet). You have to order minimum of $6.50 per person in order to stay there. Wish we had checked their site and known about the free underground parking instead of paying to park on Yonge, as for first-time customers, it's not obvious that they have parking available until you pay for parking and are seated in the restaurant.

Delicious crepes, the Premium Matcha Crepe is my personal favourite although they've been out mochi for a while now. Their coffees are decent, I would recommend the Cappuccino, again a personal favourite. Overral great dessert place to stop by at any occasion. Some of their ice creams are made in-house as well.

Some of the best crepes I've had in the city. It should be considered as North York's best kept secret for all crepe lovers. And the staff is super friendly too and the restaurant has a nice, cozy feel to it.

I have been coming here since 2014 and I still adore this place! It’s so cute, has a patio in the summer and a very convenient location (5ish minute walk from Finch Station). The portions are large so u can split desserts if you aren’t hungry but if you are, the dessert will fill you up 100%. I prefer their sweets over their savoury crepes but they are still pretty good. Their parfaits are very underrated as well :)

I usually order from Pastel through Uber eats. They always get the order right, pack it up nicely and when my stuff arrives, the drink hasn’t spilled and the ice cream hasn’t melted. The pistachio almond house made ice cream is a must try.

I came by a week ago, and the cafe is a great place to meet up with friends or family. First of all, the sweet potato crepe/dessert.. It is my new favourite! I can't believe there's a thing called sweet potato ice cream! My friend also order a matcha crepe, with matcha ice cream. Also a good treat. The only thing I would add though is that the space is quite small. Had to squeeze in a lil bit. Also the water, I prefer it being served the moment customers sit down. There was a bit of delay since the waitress mistaken our matcha crepe order with a matcha tea. Not a big deal though. Staff is quite friendly, and I am happy for that. Would love to come by again!
