Visited today for the first time and enjoyed it. I had the classic cheeseburger which was pretty good, fries were awesome. Loved the seasoning they use on them. My girlfriend had the honey garlic chicken nachos which were also really good. She had a classic margarita to drink and was very pleased with it. Staff was very friendly and the location is very nice. Decor and lighting is fantastic. Will definitely be returning.

Good food, good service. Points lost: —7 layer dip was tasty but nacho chips were far too fragile to pick it up. —Avocado salad had too much dressing which was also too acidic. Subjective? Yes! But this is my review.—Chairs were uncomfortable. Unless I sat like a eunuch, the sides dug into my thighs. Points gained: +varied menu +family friendly including kids’ menu and colouring stuff. No points lost but good to know: the patio experience is dragged down by tuner cars and their love of noise pollution.

Higher quality restaurant, expect higher prices but the food was great. Burritos, Enchiladas, Tacos, many avocado recipes. Best refried bean I've ever had. Has outdoor seating and adult drinks.

Went here for supper last night. It is certainly a busy spot. Definitely recommend making a reservation. The chips and salsa were great (chips were heated). We both ordered 1/4 pound chicken fajitas. The sides/toppings platters were pretty big. The rice and bean scoops were a little strange but tasted ok. My wife got the loaded fries instead of the beans and rice - great choice. A bit extra but worth it. When the fajita platters came out, they were steaming away - great start. There is a lot of stuff on them for sure (4-5 shells worth). The only thing I thought a bit off was the vegetables on the hot platters had literally no seasoning on them - literally raw onions, etc tossed onto the platters and then steamed to cook as they went to the table. Mind you it was hot enough to char some them on the bottom, but still no flavour. Made the meal a bit of a let down but still was able to liven it up with hot sauce. The holder for the tortilla shells was also very good - enough shells and kept them warm for the meal. My wife's Margherita was delicious 😀🍹👍. Thanks.

Went and had their nachos and a pitcher of sangria. Our waiter was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and super fast service. Nachos were amazing. One of the best I've had in moncton so far.

Nice very friendly place. Just a bit expensive for the quantity. $25 for 125g of chicken, add another $25 if you want an extra 125g. It's $200/kg of chicken. They might feed them with gold grains ;) Except that, waitress are lovely, taste is decent (not wow) and place is nice.

I can't emphasize how great this place is for the likes of Moncton. Serve fresh tortilla chips for free with delicious salsa. The ambiance really displays a Mexican vibe and it's just a gem . Check it out , you won't be sorry

We ordered veggie and chicken nachos and a few drinks. The nachos were good, I did miss having refried beans on them though. I shared the veggie nachos with a friend and fully intended to order something else later, but the portion size was so large, I didn't have to. The mango daiquiri was maybe a little light on the alcohol but EXTREMELY yummy. The person who was taking care of us was exceptionally good - they put up with all of our indecisiveness, was very helpful, very polite, efficient, and quick. But there was this other lady - she splashed water on my friend's face when she was refilling the glasses (no apologies offered) and ignored our request for an extra plate. Not sure what that was about. The ambience is lovely - comfy seating, great lighting. I'm definitely heading back to try more of the menu.

Great tacos. Had the fish tacos for lunch, its served with a side of rice and beans. Very filling. Nice place, plenty of tables inside, tvs and a front patio for the summer. Recommend.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I am so impressed with the food and service at Mexi's. Everything was also reasonably priced. Our server Justin G was awesome! So friendly and always around to make sure our drinks and tortilla chip bowl were full. The restaurant was clean, classy and had fun decor/murals. Best churros I've ever had and only $5 for 4! Run, don't walk!

Nice wait staff. Lots of space in their outdoor patio. Had the deep fried avocado and pickles. All in all quite good albeit a little salty. (And that says something being a salt lover)

Mexis is great food, great people, and great prices! If you are looking for the best fajitas in the Atlantic provinces, then this is the place for you. A very nice, well rounded menu is offered, with a kid's menu available as well! Great drinks, great grub, great time

We decided to stop by for a quick bite to eat a few weeks ago and found a great place to have a great meal. We ordered the steak tacos and a platter of nachos with a mixed drink cocktail. The server brought out a plate of chips and salsa to start us off which were very tasty. The nachos were pretty okay, but the steak tacos. Yo. Dumb good. Seriously. These tacos were so good. Like the steak with the avocado cream sauce. It's kind of unfortunate that 2 tacos are $18 but they're borderline worth the price. We also got a cheesecake and churros for dessert. Again, the cheesecake was a bit above average but these churros, totally coated in cinnamon and plenty of dulce de leche to dip them in. We decided to go back the next time we were in Moncton and order one of the fish, chicken, and steak tacos again. The fish weren't as good as the steak but still pretty tasty. The chicken tacos were kind of tasteless and not that much excitement, but again the steak tacos were great. Overall the place is a 4 but the steak tacos are a 5. Great atmosphere, with pretty great food, if just a bit too expensive. Maybe not a weekly place to go, but worthy of a repeat visit.

Had such a great time here! The food was delicious (chicken wing nachos and tacos) but what made this place five stars was Ryan, our waiter. He was so good at his job that even though he had a good amount of patron's he still made us feel like we were the only person there. I don't give reviews singling out an individual person but Ryan you deserve it!!

Three of us had lunch and we all really enjoyed. Great service and delicious food. We are vegan so it can be slim pickings at most places but here we had lots of choices. I had the veggie burrito with refried beans and rice. It was amazing.

Awesome and super tasty food! Portions are huge! The service was great! This restaurant is great for a meal with family and friends but is also a perfect place to have some cocktails and a lot of fun. There was live music when we were there and it made the experience even more enjoyable! Will return again and again!

3 out of 5 is more about service and cleanliness. If those improved, definitely a 4 out of 5 easily. Food was very good. Maybe some Mexican music to improve the ambiance. Update. After two more visits, I now think it does warrant a 4 out of 5, but there is still room for improvement and maybe a price reduction on some drinks. But it's a comfy place after work

I just love Mexican food, and even better it's both Mexican and Californian cuisine which is awesome. This is a really good restaurant that offers good varieties of dishes, fair prices, great staff and just a really lovely environment with a lot of the Mexican culture. The best nachos ever!! Prices are pretty good considering the size of plate, very good Mexican/Californian choices of foods! They're alcoholic beverages are more on the expensive side but their cocktails are amazing! The deserts are good sizes and priced well! The churros are amazing! 100% recommend!

Food was delicious, I've never been to Moncton before and if all the restaurants are like this I might have to move here. Our server was Justin, and he was just outstanding. He was there with the water before we even knew we needed more and was great with our nephew. Their specials are also incredible, as we were there on a Sunday our nephew ate for free and got a free dessert. I'm thinking about coming back here again for dinner tonight.

Food is pretty good, nice selection to fit most people’s taste. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Cost isn’t too bad as servings are generally quite large, you won’t leave here hungry that’s for sure.

Okay Tex-Mex style food. Not really what you'd call authentic at all. No cilantro in anything we had, tacos were especially sub par, chimichanga was what you'd expect, nothing special though. Service was friendly and attentive.

If you are worried about portion size at all, might I suggest the Clyde burrito? It was very, very tasty. The Ambiance was nice, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It's also very clean with lots of different rooms for different functions

We went the other day for some evening food and a casual drink. They were understaffed and things weren't quite super speedy, but the service was impeccable and the waitress was patient with us. They've also recently got a cider on tap and it's delicious. Highly recommend the place!

Food is not mind blowing but it's solid. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They accept the Killam Perks card which gives a small discount and the illusion of better value. Taco night is a rip off. Best value is the Clyde's Burrito. Restaurant and restrooms are clean. Atmosphere is decent for a fun night out or family meal.

Let's start with the good points: The dishes we had were all realy tasty and fresh. Also the drinks I had were great. The prices are reasonable, especially for a restaurant at the Main Street. So I would give five Stars for the dishes and prices. There were a few downsides tough. It took longer than usual for our dishes to arrive (even if freshly cooked) and the starter arrived before the Drinks. As we had enough time and there was free W-Lan, we didn't care to much about this, but still, i would only give 3 stars for that aspect. Our waiter was very friendly, but unfortunately, he misunderstood the order of my Girlfriend and he forgot one of her orders. He apologized for that in a very friendly way. Therefore, I would give 4 Stars for service. With 5 Stars for prices and dishes, 3 for waiting time and 4 for the service, I end up at a 4 Star general rating.

This is our favorite place to eat! We love the food because it's fresh and cleaner than eating at most places. The staff are very nice and accommodating and the prices are on par with anywhere else you would go. If you love Mexican this is the place to go!

The workers are almost always extremely friendly & for the most part good at keeping an eye out to make sure everything is okay. I am a huge fan of Mexican food and this place delivers for a pretty good price. The kid's eat free on Sunday always makes this a place on our list if we eat out over the weekend. I recommend Clyde's Burrito, with rice & beans mixed; you will be so full and so satisfied.

Great chips and salsa! Their chips are unique, I really enjoy them -- they are sprinkled with some kind of taco seasoning. The building is clean and well decorated. Their food is good, fresh, and homemade, I've had the quesadilla appetizer and chicken enchiladas. Their food isn't very spicy, which is how I like it ,-)

Overall experience was great and I always eat here when I feel for Mexican food. My only issue was last time that I went ( by myself) I ordered a chilly and my plate felt like it went through the oven or something made it SUPER hot and I almost burnt my hand trying to move it to the side.

This is my husband & I's favourite restaurant we have gone on many occasions. Overall, the staff is great, the food is good, and the prices are okay. Did our wedding rehearsal dinner here. I would not recommend this venue if you want to try and talk to the people at the end of the table (pary of 14) way to loud. Great for a small group!!! The last time we visited the prices seem to have gone up making the menu a lot less appealing. For two to eat you will be spending around $40.
