Alex ScordasQuaint and cozy little bar - a bit of a diamond in the rough on King East. The drinks are fantastic and the service is friendly. A great place to just sit at the bar. The veggie burger was one of the better options in the city and their house pickled things are worth trying.
Katherine KVery cool place in the middle of Ham. Nothing much else around but 6 min walk to the main Tim’d stadium, and that makes it so much better. Very Toronto urban downtown feel to the bar. Social underground.

Matt FlynnThis place has a VIBE. A little bit speakeasy, a little bit hipster, this bar has charm to SPARE. A great decor, some groovy music and a tasty drink menu are definite pulls. Add an eclectic menu (with half price apps from 4-6) and you have the total package. The “Pickled Things” (made in-house) are NOT to be missed. The owner (Derek) is affable and takes the time to share his stories and get to know your name. Take a friend and get to know this wonderful, quasi-secret spot.

Krysta BoyerEasily one of my favourite bars in the city. It has a relaxed vibe, with great cocktails, scotches and beers. The food is consistently great, and reasonably priced. I love the neighbourhood bar feeling you get in the Capitol Bar. If I lived closer, I would be there more often. Definitely worth checking out.
