Very accommodating manager with excellent pandemic protocol. She welcomed us warmly to the restaurant and was very sweet to my little girls. Food and coffee tasted good, arrived promptly. I love Ricky’s breakfast and this was what I’ve come to expect!

Get food from here on a semi-regular basis and as far as diners go this is a solid place to get food. I can't speak to the dine-in experience; but from what I've ordered the food is great. Only item I *could* complain about is the Beef Po' boy which I (personally)found to have more salt than necessary, but that's a small nit-pick overall.

Good good sometimes slow in the kitchen but understandable considering staffing issues. My father in law loves this place. They make a very good liver and onions.

Need more staff at breakfast and please add a little lime juice to your avocado toast, it kicks it up a notch and also please use a softer bread that when it’s toasted it’s not so hard to cut with a knife, thanks otherwise.

I had ordered the Fish & Chips. Everything was delicious except the Fish could have been alot less greasy. They could have used some Paper Towel to lessen the amount of grease on the batter. That's my only concern but an important one all the same. 😃

They have a very good turkey dinner in two portion sizes. Seating is distancing and staff wear masks. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Good place to visit and good coffee.

They are always pretty good. The chicken and waffles are our go too. The only thing was there fountain pop was really watery and flat. We did ask for a new glass and it still was flat even without ice. They are following social distancing and the service time is good.

My kids love to come here for the toys. They let the kids pick a toy from a chest they have full of small toys. I like to come here for the delicious breakfast they offer. The servers are very nice. They try their best to satisfy their customers. The pancake banana split is humongous and very sweet. The Chorizo Breakfast Bowl is my favorite I love the fresh tomatos and green onion on top of it.

Service was quick. The servers were friendly and paid attention to my needs. The food was good but not exceptional. Being a senior the smaller size portion was a perfect size. I would go back.

Hands down THE BEST service in the city!! I'm a regular at Ricky's Kingsway location and Absolutely love the staff and food here! The owners are so friendly and treat their clients like family and friends! I come here almost daily with my laptop and work for a few hours since working at home all day gets tiresome! I HIGHLY suggest you try everything on the Menu! I e not been dissapointed by a single dish!

Went to Rickys on Dec 31 at 11 and had such an amazing experience! Nancy was our server and was so polite and friendly. Food was delicious and was definitely a comfortable environment. 10/10 recommendation

I had the beer battered fish with a salad and coleslaw. It was fabulous. Outrageous price for a cup of tea, though. We waited forever for our bill. Finally had to go and ask for it.

I ordered the liver and onions to test how good the cook was. I was not disappointed! It was cooked well and not over cooked which happens a lot with liver at restaurants. Service was pretty quick and easy to deal with.

Not sure what happened to this place but it's gone downhill a little. Been here at least a dozen times but the last two were sub par. The service was still adequate but the food side was not good. And please teach your cooks what sauteed mushrooms are supposed to look and taste like. We'll give it one more try and if it hasn't improved we will not be going back to this location seeing as there are two others within the same distance.

We ducked in here because our favourite Pho place was closed for the holidays. I always have a hard time choosing when a friend wants to eat at a Ricky's because the menu is SO extensive. All day breakfast is one of the things that I like about Ricky's. Steak and eggs is what I had. I asked for it rare. The kitchen didn't get it right but it was extremely juicy and therefore not a total loss. The scrambled eggs were like someone was making an omelet and tried just chopping it up. Our server saved the whole experience. She was bubbly, friendly and pretty amazing! (and busy) The food for my experiences with Ricky's are always hit and miss. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. They seem to be able to hire really good servers at this location. The handful of times I have been here, the service has always been really good.

Empty and quiet place (only one server who also acted as host). Decor looks updated though seats feel worn. Nice variety on menu and breakfast all day. TV screen. Music playing but not too loud. They have guest wifi but it’s password protected and I couldn’t find it posted anywhere. The food came very quickly. It tasted very good. The broccoli cheese soup was super cheesy and even had a baked layer of cheese and croutons. The Greek wrap was loaded with chicken and very flavour but not much cucumber, tomato, or tzasiki sauce.

My friend and I drove down from Calgary for a concert. We decided before heading back to stop in for down lunch and we had an amazing experience. Our food did take a little longer than expected, though we did get an explanation from the waitress who apologized for the mishap. Everything tasted wonderful and the waitress was very pleasant! I will return to this location because of her. Amazing job Tamara! 👍🏼👍🏼

I went here with 5 family members and there seemed to be something that appealed to ages from 91 to 25. I had a cheese omelet which was very good. I didn't find the staff very friendly and the corner near the door was very cold temp-wise too.

Great service and very delicious food. The staffs are very friendly abd seem happy to serve us. Price seems a little high but the whole dining experience and the service makes it totally worth it. 5 star from me!!!

Pretty good food, but the portion sizes are small on some of the items on the menu. I did have one of the salads that was something of a mountain on a plate, and that was awesome! Would definitely eat here again.

We come here a lot. The food is almost always good, service is fast and friendly. Great breakfast / brunch kind of place. They do serve dinner as well but I've honestly never tried it.

This is a great family restaurant. Great menu, staff and price. Matter of fact I had my company retirement lunch there on June 19 2015 and I'll be having my birthday lunch with mom June 23 2016.

The service is not too bad..sadly my fruit bowl only had pineapple, cantaloupe, orange and a bit of grapefruit- all of which were spoiled.. Location is pretty easily accessible, which made it a convenient place to have a quick meeting. The menu could use a few more options for dessert....
