I went to Chianti often many years ago and recently stopped by again for their Pasta Monday/Tuesday deal. Service and atmosphere were quite nice as before. In terms of food, I tried the Supremo. The pasta was alright - It was a bit bland, but had decent bits of salmon and nice scallop. The overall value of the food was good.

Great staff, good food, & beautiful decor. Although some of the art is over windows which is weird. Veggie lasagna is good. My friend gets fettuccine she says its good- she always gets it. UPDATE: Last time i got the Pollo Con Asparagi. I didn’t read the part where it said i was getting zucchini sticks and potatoes, was kind of disappointed I didn’t get pasta but thats my own fault for not fully reading it. Was still really good.

Great service! Was not the biggest fan of the onion ring style calamari, but the carbonara and fettuccine Chianti dishes were good, not authentic Italian but still yummy.

Ultimately, fairly disappointing. Not terrible by any stretch, but far from memorable. The service was adequate and our server was quite nice. We ordered several items. Some of the items were cold, some overcooked, and some decent, but not great. The pasta was mushy and overcooked, which was probably the most disappointing given that we came on “pasta frenzy”. It’s too bad. I’ve been coming to Chianti Cafe for over over thirty years and have dined at every location of theirs across Canada.

This place is absolutely perfect in all ways. The most important thing at a restaurant: food. The food is INCREDIBLY DELICOUS and their portion sizes are big. The staff is friendly and helpful. The setup is just so cute and authentic. They even have a beautiful patio. I love coming here and it is definitely one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Edmonton.

Still my fav place to go. The food was good,. The backroom is still one of my favorite places in the city to go enjoy a good meal. We came back to celebrate our anniversary in the same place we took one of our first dates. Always a favorite of ours.
