Can’t go wrong with half price wings! They have a variety of interesting unique flavours. I mean ..cinnamon bun flavoured chicken wings? Coca Cola bbq? Definitely have to come back to try those. Overall great spot and staff!

What great meal we had today. Our burgers we really delicious and our boneless wings had great flavor!! Our server Ali, was really attentive and super friendly, she made our experience a great one. We will definitely be back!

Went there for lunch today and chose to sit on the patio even though it was quite cold at 6C and windy at times. Several snowflakes fell. The weather itself was not the restaurant's fault. We chose the Donairs Burger. I had Sweet Potato Fries as a side. Very tasty and awesome!!! I will go again 💞🎶.

Great stop to watch some sports and grab a burger. Their burgers are very good and customizeable! The mac & Cheese burger was my favourite which comes with their signature beef patty, topped with deep-fried macaroni and cheese, spicy ketchup, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, all on a cheese bun.

Went three times. First time, I loved it. Second time, I phoned ahead and said I am out of province and don't have a QR Code for vaccination. The lady said I couldn't come but when I said that paper copies of vaccination proof are allowed for out-of-province visitors, she doubled checked and said that I would be allowed. It was weird how she wanted to turn me away - prefer not to be busy? I felt like she should be fully trained on this matter. Then after walking there the person at the door said I needed a QR Code so I was mad that they misinformed me and got angry. Then they said I was in fact allowed because I was out of province but it was an annoying exchange. I think the staff gossiped about me being angry. Then the nachos we had were only like 70% full. The next time we came, they were really slow on service and the waitress avoided eye contact. I felt like I was being punished for getting angry on my second visit but my point of view was that I phoned ahead to see if I would be admitted with paper copies. I didn't appreciate being told yes over the phone and then walking there for a half hour to be told no. I think they provoked the situation. The entirety of the three visits I had while in Edmonton was that it was average place.

Went first time ordered Klefbom burger. Burger was excellent. Fries were crisp. The dip they give with the fries is tasty too. Service was good. Good views of the TVs too.

The food looked advertisement quality and was ready for a promotional photo shoot. The tacos were boldly flavored and the fish was cooked really nicely and not dry. They were also stuffed and presented very well, wowed my eyes when they were set down and I couldn't wait to dig into them. The sliders were also cooked very well, still juicy and not over cooked. I could see all the colors so it was constructed very well. I was also surprised at how balanced the sliders were because I was totally expecting it to be very bready because of how big the bun looked. Service: our server was very chill but he took good care of us. Checked in on us a good amount of times and in good intervals. Also kept our waters topped off. Atmosphere: fairly open sports bar. Sports bar, the burgers they offer here are quite different but worth tasting if interested in something unusual. Lots of beer types and our server was knowledgeable of the menu. My friend and I will be back to try more.

This place is great ! The burgers are so good and unique ! I definitely recommend the pizza burger and the perogy burger. They have lots of different options for fries ! Definitely get your money’s worth ! Great for watching games too, tv’s everywhere, and they also have a small but nice patio.

The staff are friendly and the indoor dining is great. The outdoor dining is a bit narrow and you would not appreciate privacy. The food is variable but I personally like the burgers they serve. It is too huge and fatty so make sure you don't order much unless you are super hungry.

We have ordered pick up from the West Edmonton Mall location a couple of times since restaurants have been closed down for dine in, and each time the food was fantastic. Tonight my husband and I both did the 'build your own burger' and we have had the fries, sweet potato fries and side salad. The service was great, everything we had was beyond awesome, and it was a ton of food. In my opinion take out is never as good as it is dining in, but this place does not disappoint. I would highly recommend 1st RND if you are looking to satisfy a burger craving!

Food was good tables and floors were clean. Staff were friendly. Refills on drinks without asking. Was very busy at time of service. Tvs were very loud. Lots of screens to watch variety of sports. Only real thing to criticize is that took 45 min to get food then didn't have time to get desert and lack of parking but it is located downtown so to be expected.

My 1st time at 1st rnd and I definitely willbe coming back! They have like 64 bottles on tap and build your own burger ( which i did! ) and I think 15+ different kinds of wings. You have to check it out!

Great environment to watch the Game. Attentive Staff, lots of menu/drink selections. Service was quick, drink refills were plentiful. Giant Pretzel was Ball-Park quality with two tasty dips. Worst Calamari we've ever eaten. Coating fell off most of the jalapeno and sweet peppers. Pieces were varying degrees of fried, most overdone. Double 4-Cheese Burger was above average. Fresh bun, lots of toppings. Curly fries were cooked and seasoned well. Next time, we'll forgo the Appetizers and go right to the Burger.

Do your best to try and eat this by yourself. I didn't. But I tried. I did get a pat on the back from my friends though which really is all that matters in life is that you tried right?! WRONG! Winning is what matters so I had 2 delicious Winter Ale beers and washed it down so I could finish the party platter. And I would do it again! Great TVs for the UFC and Oiler games! Parking is free and a quick walk to the rink. Great sports bar!

Good staff. The wings are maybe a 4/5 but the beer is cold and they make a great donair burger. I would say the Price is average for a trendy sports bar type place. But I like going here on Date night.

My favorite place to watch any sports. I love then wings and my wife loves the burgers. They do lots of fun contests for jerseys, tickets, and other great stuff. I even got to go to an Oilers game a year back from a contest.

Sat out in the cold weather with the sun shining down on us at the welcoming 1strnd patio today. We were forced to sit outside because of the current Covid restrictions. I would like everyone who reads reviews to know how wonderful the staff were to us especially our server Kaylin. The food was out promptly and was much to our liking. They have huge overhead heaters on the patio and kept us in the comfortable range during our visit. Better yet the Managers Jade & Franco each came by more than once to see how our visit was going. It's safe to say that 1STRND will see us again.

Food here is really good. The build your own burger is with the garlic parm sauce is to die for. Prices are good. Only complain is that the gravy and fish tacos are really salty. Maybe ease off the salt a bit. The bathrooms were also a mess and 2 of the toilets were spewing water everywhere and one didn't flush properly. Will give another location a try

So I live in St. Albert and have to do Downtown to order from this place , every month in Covid19 we ordered burgers and we have never been disappointed . I was so impressed I called the GM Franco...Hats off to you and your staff.

Nice and quiet in late afternoon/early evening (although I'm sure it gets busy on game nights), but service was slow. There was a mistake with our order when it got punched in and we were originally brought the wrong thing and when the correct order was brought out the server was directed to the wrong table. Staff were very apologetic. Food was delicious (once we had it) and portions are always generous.

I enjoyed their 'Soup of the Day'. I am a big fan of good soup, so I appreciated that 1st RND makes an awesome soup. Fish tacos were on special when we were there and my buddies shared some with me. Delicious, quality food and the service was great. It was a good experience!

Been going here for a while and I have to say that this is one of the best sports bars in town. The staff are awesome and friendly. They remember faces, even if you've been there a couple times or haven't been there in months. They will still remember you. It is also kid friendly as I have seen families in there and have brought my own son in. If you want a good burger before, during or after a game, come here.

These days it seems everybody is boasting about what a great burger they have... but these guys deliver. Any time. Every time. They never disappoint. I don’t venture too far away from their PB&J burger but I have yet to find a burger that has not been great. You owe it to yourself to try one and if you’ve already eaten there then you know what I mean.

My gal friend and I were in this Friday, September 11th. My friend spilled and broke her drink glass almost as soon as we arrived. She was still sober and pretty embarrassed. Franco (the general manager) and Mitchell (his awesome sidekick) were there in a couple of seconds to very kindly clean up the mess. Sierra, our server helped too and the service was awesome...even with masks. I think rule about putting on a mask (bacteria cloth) when you arrive, get up to go to the bathroom and leave is totally absurd and actually counterproductive. However, I understand that they are just trying to stay in business during this ridiculous scamdemic and noted everything was very clean.

Love this place. If you are looking for a sports bar don't go anywhere else, especially during the big events. Try the peanut butter and jam burger, sounds strange but trust me you'll love it. Good service as well which is hard to come by nowadays.

This is a really good place to watch the game and the beer selection is great. I enjoyed some of the food, the Bavarian pretzel was delicious and the sliders were very good. The hot wings were disappointing though. I'm not sure why restaurants put batter on hot wings, they just end up soggy and messy. The service here was very good, our waitress was friendly and checked in with us regularly.

My first experience of this restaurant wasn't great. The food was overcooked (beef for nachos burned and overcooked chicken), the staff were a bit rude and we're extremely unresponsive to the point where I couldn't even get anyone's attention before the meal was finished and when I contacted management in regards to it I was ignored. All that being said my girlfriend convinced me to give them another shot and I have to say there's definitely a marked improvement. My food wasn't overcooked this time and the server was extremely nice even though I was a bit annoying and switched an order. Furthermore I tried my luck once more and they seem to have solved many of the problems plagued them on my initial visit. 4/5 for a lack of response from management and a bad first experience but a hopeful future

Went there on a Tuesday at 230pm...it was very quiet, except for the horribly loud annoying obscure grunge music that nobody listened to in 90s... there were 7-8 people including our 2 ..I am sorry but I think serving your customers is priority, and the manager walking around can help if the server is struggling. It's all about team work. You let the puck in the net this time..its a tie game 1st Round our last visit was top notch so there will be a tie breaker!

This is our go to for pretty much any sport viewing on the big tv. The food is always outstanding for pub food. Unfortunately, I knocked off stars before rating today because of our last experience. For the Adesanya/Costa fight, three of us came early and got a good seat in the corner booth that seats 4. After 30 minutes, we were told we needed to move as someone called in and needed our table. They moved us to a less comfortable floating table with the same number of seats in a less optimal viewing area so that didn't make sense to us. We were told by the hostess that all the tables are the same for viewing so it didn't matter. Yet it matters enough that another party took priority over us for the corner. We sat through two hours of fights spending money before merely one person showed up at the previous table with an hour left on the card. Then two other people showed up for only the main card. They only ordered a drink while we had spent the evening ordering drinks, appetizers and food. Their party was ultimately the same size. When I called back later that week to ask what happened, I was told that 1st RND couldn't control what time people show up. There was no apology. That wasn't my point...their party was the same size yet we had to move for some odd reason. Clearly there was probably some relationship that party had with the location that took priority resulting in our inconvenience since we don't have "friends" at the location. A little disappointed to say the least. Uodate: Since this post, want to thank Becca for reaching out and hearing out my situation. She had committed to ensuring similar situations in the future are addressed. Thanks so much. Have put this rating back to 4...

First time coming here and Alicia was amazing. Great personality, engaging. Service was good, busy for a lunch hour, nice to see people still eating out. Fish Tacos were fantastic, tater tots wonderful. Plates were overflowing, so much food, such great price. Time to pay the bill had an issue with my debit card, she took it in stride. Best wings in the city! Hard to choose considering they have so many options. I enjoy the 'build your own burger's' option as I try to eat what i like the most. This option allows me to do just that! This place is also bumping for sports such as hockey and football! McDavid central!
