Absolutely delicious. Everything we tried tasted great, and all of it together was a delicious meal. The food was hot, the wine was delightful, and we made room for the dessert. The service was warm, friendly, and exactly what you would look for in a family restaurant where you just feel welcome. Will enthusiastically go back.

Ordered grilled calamari and tyropita (3 cheese filo pastry) for take out, just to add something different to our dinner. But oh they were soooooo good! I want to go back and get more of those cheese pastry, maybe keep some in my freezer too?

Haven't been since they moved to Altadore. Seems like the same menu from decades ago. Lamb skewer was chewy like leather so was the grilled calamari. The rest of my party had a variety of complaints. The service was sub-par. I used to love going there. I will definitely go back because I am sure they can do better. They were known for great Greek food. Please step your game up.

Came here for a date, from the outside it looks a bit run down and my date thought it was a bit sketchy but we were extremely happy with the food. We got some calamari and pita bread to start. The calamari was unfortunately a bit bland for my tastes but the pita bread was warm, fresh, and delicious. She had the chicken souvlaki with rice and lemon potatoes and loved it. I had a bite of her chicken and it was perfect. I had the brizoles (lamb shoulder chops) with a salad and Greek fries. The fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked and I couldn't get enough of them, and the lamb was utterly delicious. Mouth watering good. The service was great as well. Our server checked in with us several times and kept our drinks filled. I will definitely be coming back here next time I get a craving for Greek.

I had taken a gentleman for dinner to celebrate his 94th birthday at Pegasus. He was well-traveled but never made it to Greece. Pegasus was perfect. The ambiance was delightful, the service was warm and gracious, and the food was as great as the best Yaya's (grandmother's) cooking could be. Both of us enjoyed it tremendously. Thank you so much Alex and Takis for making our evening most enjoyable. I shall definitely be back with more friends.

Always good. Always delicious. It’s a lovely family run business. The service is always exceptional. Great to go with a group so you can try more and the atmosphere... my daughter says “it’s so cozy”. If you feel like Greek, it’s worth going and priced much more reasonable that other spots.... with authentic Greek food.

Tried Pegasus for takeout tonight and it was great. We ordered the calamari, chicken skewer and pita and it was a great dinner for 2. The calamari was battered and deep fried but was still really nice and light - didn’t taste greasy at all like some places! Would recommend!

We’ve been going to Pegasus for years and whenever we bring friends and family to try it (even the pickiest of eaters) they love the food. The atmosphere is homey and feels like you’re in Europe. On Fridays they grill lamb on a charcoal BBQ, it’s incredible! Must try. Best Greek food in Calgary!

Decided to try the papoutsakia and was blown away how good it was, one of the best dishes a lot of people probably don’t know about. The mussels are probably my favorite thing from here because they’re cooked to perfection and are served in amazing wine sauce.

Fabulous take out meal to celebrate a family birthday. Excellent moussaka, tender fall off the bone lamb, roast potatoes with Greek salad, hummus, tzatziki and pita. Then baklava for dessert. Delicious!

This place is amazing! Hadn't been in years and when craving Greek it was the first place that came to mind - we'll be ordering more frequently now. The potatoes are so well cooked, the spicy dip is fantastic and the chicken and lamb were perfect. Thanks very much, looking forward to ordering again soon!

We stopped at this restaurant a little later in the evening last night with about 20 people celebrating a 50th birthday! The owners and staff were very accommodating of our large group. Setting up tables so we could all sit together. They came up with some dishes for the whole group to try and the food was REALLY good! Such a friendly atmosphere! Even the owner had a traditional dance with the Birthday Girl

I was lucky to be able to have my Birthday dinner with friends, family and their kids here this weekend. Everyone ate as much as they could and still brought their leftovers home. The Saganaki was a hit as well as the home made pita. Everyone eaves about the amazing tastes of the foods and the great friendly service. Tasis, the owner welcomes everyone as though they are longtime friends. He even successfully had a fantastic belly dancer come and entertain us during our meals. I have had several phone calls and texts today complimenting me and thanking me for inviting them for such an amazing party. We will be back again. It is great to have such a wonderful restaurant in Altadore!

Altadore has a great selection of interesting restaurants that serve tasty food. Tonight we ordered takeout from Pegasus and the food was great. The restaurant will continue to be a regular for us. Looking forward to the day when we are all vaccinated and can enjoy the busy patio with our friends.

From booking my reservation, arriving to courteous, amazing staff to the ABSOLUTELY crazy delicious food - this place is 5 stars PLUS!!! I had Saganaki, brilliant! Grilled calamari - delightful! The food here is excellent, authentic Greek cuisine. I had lamb loin chops, they were cooked absolutely perfectly. This restaurant has a great ambience too as it's a small family run place, very quiet so you can actually have a conversation with someone without having to yell. Would definitely recommend!

The best Greek food in the city, hands down. A staple in the city for years, they moved to Altadore but the food, ambiance and experience are still amazing. They have the best pita bread in the world (without question) and their other tapas is to die for. Try it for yourself!!

Great cozy little authentic Greek restaurant, a staple for Calgary. Lots of options for all tastes, smaller selection of wines but they're all great. Service has always been stellar, the owner regularly greets guests, is very friendly and has great stories to tell.

The food was quite good. Went on a Tuesday evening and the place was half empty. It was really good food. The food is very authentic except for the pita bread. It wasn't pita it was more like a German pancake. Nut the grape leaves are very good and the Greek salad is huge and yummy! Tons of olives and feta which is my favorite. Can't wait to go back

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago for dinner with a friend. The waiter was very nice/charming and took very good care of us. He made sure we had everything we needed. The wait was not long and the food was pretty good. Our appetiser and dessert were great! The only negative comment is that my chicken had some fat on it which I didn't care for, but that's my personal preference. Overall the food and service was awesome and I would go here again!

This place is a hidden gem for Greek food! The dishes always taste fresh and have plenty of flavour! The decor is a nice touch and it gets pretty busy during dinner rush! They open at 5 pm so keep that in mind when going over for dinner!

Dam good Greek food. This place has been tucked away in the corner by river park for years. Very friendly service, even first visits you feel like a regular. Cannot go wrong for a taste of Greek in Calgary

The service was brilliant and the food just fresh and solid. They had rack of lamb, which was not on the regular menu, so I had that and the chicken and rice soup with a side salad. My friend had the rack of lamb as well and lemon potatoes and salad. Everything came out in a timely manner and was just perfect. Even the dessert was great. We had the custard in phyllo. So melt in your mouth good! I'll be back and often.

I have been frequenting Pegasus for thirty years now. I can remember only twice in that time that the food was disappointing. I have many business lunches there. The reason that I like to take my business guests there is because I will invariably impress them. Many of them have become regulars after being introduced to Pegasus. The prices are of such good value too! The food is authentic Greek. This may cause some people to compare it with pseudo Greek restaurants such as the Broken Plate. People may not expect the dishes to be as they are at Pegasus because they become familiar with the pseudo Greek food that can be found in many places around town. No one prepares lamb like Pegasus. It is always juicy and melts in your mouth. Their Calamari is the tenderest and most succulent of any found in this city. There is no place in the world that doesn't have occasional challenges with service. However, for the most part I have always found the service to good at Pegasus. In conclusion, you will not find anywhere that is as authentic and provides as good a value as you will at Pegasus!
